Day & Age is the upcoming third studio album by Las Vegas-based American rock band The Killers, and is set for release on November 24, 2008 in the UK and November 25, 2008 in Canada and the US. It will be released in Australia on November 22. On November 19, 2008, Day & Age was released early on Japan’s iTunes Store for download. The first single from the album, “Human”, was released to radio on September 22, 2008, and became available for download on September 30, 2008. The band performed “Human” and “Spaceman” on the October 4, 2008 episode of Saturday Night Live. “Spaceman” was released for download on November 4, 2008.
The Killers are an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2002, the group consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass guitar, vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (percussion, drums).

Part of the post-punk revival movement, The Killers draw influence from music styles of the 1980s and 1990s. The group’s debut album, Hot Fuss (2004) brought the band mainstream success. The Killers’ second album, Sam’s Town, was released in 2006, and the compilation album Sawdust containing B-sides, rarities, and new material, was released in 2007. The band’s first two albums have sold in excess of 12 million copies worldwide combined and their third album, Day & Age, produced by Stuart Price is due in late November 2008. In addition to these albums, the band has also released several remixes of album tracks as well as two Christmas singles, “A Great Big Sled” (2006) and “Don’t Shoot Me Santa” (2007) whose sales benefit Bono’s Product Red campaign to fight AIDS in Africa.
