Songs from the Underground is a Linkin Park album that consists of a collection of 8 popular Linkin Park Underground (LPU) tracks from the past 7 years. It also includes previously unreleased material from the band. This CD will be released in limited quantities and will only be released at Best Buy. The EP contains six previously released tracks and two exclusive tracks: “Hunger Strike - Chris Cornell featuring Chester Bennington (Live)” and “My December (Live)”. Those who purchase the CD will also receive a free one-month trial to the Linkin Park Underground.

To coincide with this release, all LPU members (including trial members) can download a free exclusive track, “Crawling (Live)”, through the Linkin Park Underground website. It was recorded on the Projekt Revolution 2008 tour (specifically the 18/07/2008 show in Burgettstown, PA) and features the reanimated intro with Mike Shinoda rapping the first verse of “Hands Held High” over it and Chris Cornell comes out during the second verse of “Crawling” and sings.
