Prospekt’s March is an EP by English alternative rock band Coldplay, released on 21 November 2008 in Europe and Japan, and slated to be released within the next six days in the rest of the world. It features several tracks left over from the studio sessions for Coldplay’s fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. It is also available in the deluxe edition of Viva la Vida.

On 19 November, Coldplay, through their website, announced that the release date would change to the 21st of November instead of the 19th of November. North American dates were brought forward to Monday 24th.
The cover features Eugène Delacroix’s painting Battle of Poitiers, similar to the cover art for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. On 5 November, Coldplay offered an exclusive preview of the EP via their Facebook application and through their website.
On 19 November 2008, the entire EP was added to BBC Radio 1’s B-List.
Coldplay are a British alternative rock band formed in London, England in 1998. The group comprises vocalist/pianist/guitarist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Will Champion. Coldplay have sold 40 million albums, and are also known for their hit singles, such as “Yellow”, “The Scientist”, “Speed of Sound”, “Fix You”, “Viva la Vida” and the Grammy Award-winning “Clocks”.
